Dear Friends, this “German Military Unit Insignia Vol 1” book is the result of our work, which combines a commitment to historical accuracy, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the subject matter. This book is a collection of emblems of Wehrmacht divisions, including motorized rifle, infantry, mountain, grenadier, and Jäger divisions, reflecting the history, combat path, and uniqueness of the Third Reich’s units in World War II.

A special place in the publication is given to profiles of military equipment. They are presented in an illustrative manner based on archival photographs, with careful reconstruction of details, camouflage, and markings. We sought to convey the appearance of the vehicles with maximum accuracy, preserving the spirit of the time and the atmosphere of everyday life on the front lines. This book is intended for researchers and collectors, as well as anyone interested in the history of military symbols and technology of the 20th century. We hope that this work will serve as a useful source of information and inspiration. We understand that it is very difficult to cover such a vast and complex subject, as most of the emblems of the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, and SS units have either been lost or remain unidentified to this day. But we have found a solution. We will soon be launching a website for our readers and subscribers, where we will create an online archive of various German unit emblems. We are already working on this. We are collecting real archival documents and recreating the emblems based on them. On this website, I will also present new work on Third Reich military equipment.
